These pieces cannot be reproduced exactly, because they are hand made, but similar reproductions may be possible on some pieces.

"Sun Down" - Encaustic ( bees wax, Dammar resin, pigment), fig tree bark fibers in the form of a tree, and sun dried it. Encaustic paint has survived since the 1st Century AD, when the Romano-Egyptians used this paint to immortalize the deceased, by painting portraits of them on their mummies. Some examples look like they were painted yesterday. Signed by the artist.

"Technopolis" - Technopolis is a flight of imagination mixed with Austin, during the technology boom in early 2000. After collecting scrap wafers, heat sinks, and chips from a recycle yard, The image of downtown Austin, with the state capital and high rise buildings came into being. "Al” While walking along the boardwalk, I spotted a palm frond laying upon the shore of a lake. It almost yelled at me because of its definitive features. I took it home, leaned it up against the wall, and studied it every time I sat on the veranda. It took a month of contemplation to decide, and it could have been “the Grinch” or any number of characters, but Mother Nature made “AL”’s mustache and nose speak to me. After studying many photo’s of Albert Einstein, I oil painted his caricature onto the frond"
